The Hope Closet is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit and emergency resource based in Fuquay-Varina, North Carolina. We collect essential items donated by the community and connect them with love and purpose to individuals and families in need throughout southern Wake County.

We focus on providing household items — such as beds, furniture, towels, linens, kitchen supplies, cleaning products, hygiene items, and more — in order to foster safe, healthy, habitable living conditions for individuals and families facing the challenges of homelessness, crisis, transition, poverty, and/or domestic violence.

Through the process of collecting from and connecting with members of our community, The Hope Closet strives to foster a culture of service, address the needs of those facing hardship, and provide family-friendly volunteer opportunities for all ages.
